Busuanga
Busuanga is a municipality in the province of Palawan, Philippines.
Busuanga Island is the largest island in the Calamian Group in the province of Palawan in the Philippines.
The territory of Busuanga covers the western one-third of Busuanga Island, which is part of the Calamian Group of Islands lying between Mindoro and mainland Palawan.
According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 16,287 people in 3,047 households.
The Busuanga town proper, Salvacion, is approximately 50 kilometers from the town proper of its neighboring municipality of Coron.
Travel time is approximately two and a half to three hours by land.
Busuanga offers a wide array of activities to the tourist, from visiting our scenic island beaches, wreck diving, catching the life of our exquisite corals, river cruising on mangrove-lader forest, kayaking, hiking our lush rainforest, hills, mountain scenic view, water falls, and natural springs.
